JIT Labs (“JIT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-powered platform that enables developers and non-technical users to build, share, and deploy web applications through natural language prompts. Our objective is to simplify software development by offering innovative tools, seamless integrations, and collaborative features, while maintaining a strong commitment to the privacy and security of your data.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”), available at https://www.jit.dev/privacy, describes how JIT collects, uses, shares, and processes personal information from users, including developers, entrepreneurs, and visitors (“User,” “you,” or “your”) of our website, platform, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to this Policy. Legal bases for processing include contract performance, legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations, as further detailed below. This Policy incorporates by reference our Terms of Service and any applicable Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”). The DPA will prevail in the event of a conflict concerning Customer Personal Data.

1. Definition of Personal Data

For the purposes of this Policy, “personal data” (also referred to as “personal information” under various U.S. state laws) means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, or reasonably capable of being linked to a particular consumer or household. Examples include:

  • Name, business email address, and phone number

  • Postal address

  • Payment information

  • Usernames and identifiers

  • IP address and device/browser identifiers

  • Authentication tokens

  • Project artifacts (such as prompts, code snippets, or deployment configurations)

Operational metrics and telemetry collected for security, billing, analytics, and product-improvement (“Service Data”) are treated separately from Customer Personal Data.

JIT does not intentionally collect special-category or sensitive data, such as biometric information, health records, or precise geolocation. Customers are instructed not to upload such information.

2. Collection and Use of Information

Information Provided by You

When you create an account, subscribe, or contact support, you may provide personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, payment details, or project information.

Information Collected Automatically

When you interact with the Services, JIT may automatically collect data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, timestamps, and error logs.

Usage Analytics

We record user interactions with key features (including prompts, code generation, deployment events, and integrations).

Children’s Data

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

JIT processes personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a Contract – To provide, maintain, and support the Services.

  • Legitimate Interests – To secure the platform, detect fraud, perform analytics, and improve features.

  • Consent – For non-essential cookies, marketing communications, or any activity requiring consent under applicable law.

JIT maintains industry-standard safeguards, including:

10. Third-Party Services

Our Services may contain links or integrations with third-party services (e.g., GitHub, Supabase, CI/CD tools, payment providers). Your use of such services is subject to their respective privacy policies.

By using our Services, you consent to receiving essential administrative communications (e.g., account alerts, billing notices). You may opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting service-related communications.

12. Governing Law & Venue

This Policy is governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the appropriate courts unless local law provides otherwise.

13. Disclaimer Regarding AI-Assisted Code

Our Services provide AI-assisted tools capable of generating or suggesting code. Such output is not a substitute for professional judgment. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any generated code.

This Policy, together with the Terms of Service, applicable DPA, and supplemental product terms, constitutes the entire agreement between you and JIT regarding privacy and data protection.
