Roblox Lock-On Script

Press X to lock onto the player under your mouse. Copy the provided scripts into a Roblox place as instructed below.

Installation

Open Roblox Studio and your place.
In the Explorer create a Folder named Modules inside ReplicatedStorage.
Create a ModuleScript inside ReplicatedStorage.Modules and replace its contents with LockOnModule.lua from this project.
Create a LocalScript inside StarterPlayer > StarterPlayerScripts and paste the contents of LockOnClient.lua.
Create a Script inside ServerScriptService and paste LockOnSetup.lua (optional — ensures ReplicatedStorage objects exist).
Run the game in Studio. Look somewhere with other players (or test with multiple clients) and press X to lock on.
